(Linz -) Summerau ÖBB - Horní Dvořistě ČD (- Českě Budějovice): [E*] Electrification between Českě Budějovice and Summerau was completed in December 2001: the voltage change is at the border. Passenger and freight trains exchange ČD and ÖBB electric locomotives at either Summerau or at Horní Dvořistě. Both countries now have dual-frequency locomotives, but ČD do not have many and some diesel workings remain. From June 2003 ÖBB dual-frequency electric locomotives have worked some freight services throughout between Linz and Českě Budějovice.
(Wien -) Gmund NÖ ÖBB - České Velenice ČD: [ED] ČD diesel trains work to Gmünd.
(Waidhofen an der Thaya -) Fratres ÖBB - Slavonice ČD (- Kostelec u Jihlavy): Line closed and lifted, but has been proposed for re-opening.
Retz ÖBB - atov ČD (- Znojmo): [E] Electrification at the Austrian standard of 15 kV 16.7 Hz has now been completed from Retz to Znojmo, and the route is worked by ÖBB electric push-pull trains. There is a technical possibility to have a change of voltage and frequency at the border, if the connecting Czech lines to Znojmo are electrified at a later date.
(Wien -) Bernhardsthal ÖBB - Břeclav ČD: [E*] Dual-frequency ÖBB locomotives work to Břeclav.

(Plzeň -) elezná Ruda město ČD - Bayerisch Eisenstein DB: [D] Bayerisch Eisenstein station is on the border. There had been no through services since this crossing reopened in 1991, with ČD and DB trains connecting at different ends of the same platform. Since 28 May 2006 some services by the German operator Waldbahn have been extended to picák.
(Plzeň -) Česká Kubice ČD - Furth im Wald DB: [D] ČD works to Furth im Wald.
Cheb ČD - Schirnding DB (- Marktredwitz): [D] DB works to Cheb. German operator Vogtlandbahn works through trains between Cheb and Marktredwitz.
(Cheb -) A ČD - Selb-Plössberg DB: Line closed.
Raun ČD - Bad Brambach DB: [D] carries German trains through the Czech Republic for a short distance with no intermediate stations. See next item.
Vojtanov ČD - Bad Brambach DB: [D] this line actually crosses into the Czech Republic twice, with a station at Plesná in the Czech Republic before crossing back into Germany for a short distance north of Vojtanov - see ČD Corridor Trains. German operator Vogtlandbahn works through trains between Plauen, Cheb and Marktredwitz.
(Sokolov -) Kraslice ČD - Klingenthal DB: [D] Re-opened in May 2000, with Vogtlandbahn working all cross-border services. In the 2008/2009 timetable, all but two train pairs work through to or from Sokolov.
(Karlovy Vary -) Potůčky ČD - Johanngeorgenstadt DB: [D] ČD works to Johanngeorgenstadt.
(Chomutov -) Vejprty ČD - Bärenstein DB (- Cranzahl): [D] This route re-opened for a second time in December 2003. DB Erzgebirgsbahn works a regular service to Vejprty but onward travel to Chomutov is possible only at weekends with just two train pairs, one of which runs from/to Leipzig.
(Děčín -) Dolní leb ČD - Schöna DB (- Bad Schandau): [E*] There is a fixed voltage change near the border and through trains are mostly worked by dual-system electric locomotives, although a few local passenger trains between Decín and Bad Schandau have been known to be operated by ČD diesel railbuses. ČD locomotives work to Dresden and beyond, DB locomotives work to Praha.
Dolni Poustevna ČD - Sebnitz DB (- Bad Schandau): Line closed. There are plans for re-opening but any funding to support the train services has yet to be agreed.
(Rumburk -) Jiříkov-Filipov ČD - Ebersbach (Sachs) DB: [D] ČD works to Ebersbach.
(Dresden -) Taubenheim (Spree) DB - Neusalza-Spremberg DB (- Zittau): [D] carries DB trains on the Bischofswerda - Zittau line through the Czech Republic with no intermediate stations.
Varnsdorf ČD - Seifhennersdorf DB (- Eibau): [D] DB Corridor Trains on the secondary route between Eibau and Zittau ceased at the end of the Winter 2000/2001 timetable. Services restarted between Liberec/Zittau and Seifhennersdorf in June 2006, calling at Varnsdorf and operated by Sächsisch-Böhmische Eisenbahngesellschaft.
Varnsdorf ČD - Großschönau (Sachs) DB (- Zittau): [D] carries ČD Corridor Trains between Varnsdorf and Liberec.
(Liberec -) Hrádek nad Nisou ČD - Zittau DB: [D] carrying ČD Corridor Trains between Liberec and Zittau, this line actually passes through a short stretch of Poland (without stations) before reaching Germany.

(Liberec -) Hrádek nad Nisou ČD - Zittau DB: [D] carrying ČD Corridor Trains between Liberec and Zittau, this line actually passes through a short stretch of Poland (without stations) before reaching Germany.
Černousy ČD - Zawidów PKP: [D] The previously reported staff trains between Cernousy and Zawidów have ceased. ČD works freight trains to Zawidów.
Harrachov ČD - Jakuszyce PKP (- Szklarska Poręba Górna): [D] No traffic, but a cross-border passenger service is planned following the introduction of Schengen open borders on 1 January 2008.
(Trutnov -) Kralovec ČD - Lubawka PKP: [D] Passenger services restarted on this route on 5 July 2008, running on Summer Saturdays and Sundays between Trutnov, Lubawka and Jelenia Góra. Trains are operated by VIAMONT using PKP DMUs. The service continued until October 2008 when it was withdrawn suddenly following objections by the Polish regional authority - which had subsidised the purchase of the DMUs - to their operating services into the Czech Republic. Although in the ČD 2009 timetable, it is not certain that this service will operate.
Meziměstí ČD - Mieroszów PKP: [D] PKP works to Meziměsti. The passenger service was withdrawn on 13 December 2003, reinstated on 5 January 2004 and withdrawn again on 31 March 2004. Unadvertised staff trains, which used to operate, may still do so.
Lichkov ČD - Miedzylesie PKP: [E] Following completion of electrification, PKP works through Praha - Wroclaw services to Letohrad. ČD works two local services a day to Miedzylesie with diesel railbuses.
Mikulovice ČD - Głuchołazy PKP: [D] ČD Table 292 trains on the Mikulovice - Jindřichov ve Slezsku route (this item and the next) reverse and call at Głuchołazy station in Poland. Two through cross-border train pairs run at weekends: Opole (PKP) - Ostruná (ČD) and Nysa (PKP) - Jesenik (ČD). Some maps, including the ČD and PKP Quail Maps, show a curve avoiding Głuchołazy but this has never existed.

Krnov ČD - Pietrowice PKP (- Głubczyce): Line closed and lifted after World War II.
Chuchelná ČD - Krzanowice PKP: Line closed and lifted after World War II.
Bohumín ČD - Chałupki PKP: [E] PKP works to Bohumín. The service was withdrawn on 13 December 2003 but reinstated on 11 December 2005.
Petrovice u Karviné ČD - Zebrzydowice PKP: [E] PKP works express services to Bohumin but ČD works 2 regional services to and from Katowice.
Český Těín ČD - Cieszyn PKP: [E] PKP works to Český Těín.

Note: ČD and SR were, until the split of Czechoslovakia, one railway and they still work to largely common operational and technical standards.
(Český Těín -) Mosty u Jablunkova ČD - Čadca SR: [E] this route is worked by a mixture of ČD and SSK trains.
Horní Lideč ČD - Strelenka SR (- Púchov): [E] SSK works to Horní Lideč.
(Bylnice -) Vlárský průsmyk ČD - Horné Srnie SR (- Nemova): [D] SSK works the local services as far as Vlárský průsmyk.
(Veselí nad Moravou -) Velká nad Veličkou ČD - Vrbovce SR (- Nové Mesto nad Váhom): [D] ČD works to Vrbovce.
Sudoměřice nad Moravou ČD - Skalica na Slovensku SR: [D] Passenger service ceased in 2007.
Hodonín ČD - Holíč nad Moravou SR: [E] This line closed to passengers at the December 2004 timetable change. Freight continues as the route is an electrified alternative route avoiding Břeclav.
(Břeclav -) Lanhot ČD - Brodské SR (- Kúty): [E] this route is worked by a mixture of ČD and SSK trains.
