Looking westwards towards the Manchester Ship Canal along the pre-1893 alignment of the Glazebrook Jn - Skelton Jn line, from near the A6144 Lymm - Manchester road. The tall embankment to the left is the post-1893 alignment. This area was covered in sidings from Partington Jn for many years after the new alignment came into use.
