Manx Northern Railway: west of St John's, the Peel line and the Ramsey line run parallel for some distance, before they diverge just west of the bridges over the River Neb. In this view looking westwards from just west of the river bridges, the Ramsey line is heading north-westwards. A little further on, the bridge over the A1 Douglas - Peel road has been removed, but the abutments are still clearly visible.
