Entering Marsh Lock from the Manchester Ship Canal at Weston. The lock takes boats up a few feet to the level of the Weaver Navigation, and is the boundary of ownership with the Canal & River Trust. Out of sight to the right is the wide expanse of the River Weaver, which flows into the Ship Canal at this point.
