Route: Exhibition Centre – Partick – Crianlarich - Oban (break, reverse) - Crianlarich – Maryhill – Springburn - Coatbridge - Mossend Up Reception (loco change) - Motherwell (set down) - Carstairs - Carlisle. The train was booked to run via Edinburgh and Newcastle, but was diverted via the direct route as a number of passengers had been taken ill.
