Wash Lane Level Crossing in Latchford near Warrington - the line crossed the road left to right just beyond the red tarmac. Opened in 1853 by the Warrington & Altrincham Junction Railway, it closed to normal traffic here in 1893 when the Manchester Ship Canal Deviation No.3 was built (the bridge is visible in the distance) but remained in use to give access to Ship Canal sidings and works alongside the canal until sometime around the 1960s.
