A footpath runs through from Woolacombe Close towards Prescott Street in Latchford, passing under Manchester Ship Canal Railway Deviation No.3. Opened in 1893, this realignment of the Warrington & Altrincham Junction Railway lasted until closure to all traffic in 1985.
