Looking westwards from the bridge that carried the Langwith Junction to Beighton branch of the LD&ECR/GCR (line F on map) over the footpath that connects Rother Valley Country Park (behind the camera) with Rother Valley Way (out of view in the distance). The underbridge of the North Midland (line E on map) can be seen in the middle distance; just beyond this is the former level crossing where the MS&LR/GCR London extension main line crossed from left to right to right (line D on map).
