Looking north-westwards along Bellhouse Lane near Moore. The hump in the road and the trees to left and right mark the course of the Grand Junction Railway, opened in 1837 between Birmingham and Warrington. The line closed here in 1893 when the Manchester Ship Canal Railway Deviations were opened, the bridge for which is just beyond the hump.
