Narrow boat "Lockdown" passes the quayside at Ellesmere Port. This was heading for Marsh Lock and the Weaver Navigation, we will see it again there. Narrow boats using the Manchester Ship Canal are required to have special permission and additional equipment such as a suitable anchor.
