Looking back as we leave Marsh Lock, to the right can be seen the Weaver Navigation as it parallels the Manchester Ship Canal but at the slightly higher level to Weston Point Docks at Runcorn. The Ship Canal itself can be seen beyond the lock, and beyond that the River Mersey estuary.
