Looking westwards from the public footpath between Ashbourne Lane and Buxton Road (the A6) that crosses the tramway course here, a short distance east of the top of Chapel inclined plane. The wall marks the tramway boundary, and the buildings at the top of the plane are visible. The course of the tramway incline leads down to the right into Chapel itself.
