The upper entrance to the new Vigo Urzáiz station, opened in this form in 2015. A previous station on this site existed from 1881 to 2011, when traffic moved to Vigo Guixar to allow complete rebuilding of Vigo Urzáiz. Urzáiz is now also a very large shopping centre, but the railway station has good access.
