RENFE AVE class 100 (standard gauge only) set 2 has arrived at platform 1 at Huesca with train AVE 3393 from Madrid. Huesca has this one evening train per day through from Madrid, returning next morning. The line from Zaragoza has separate broad gauge 3 kV dc and standard gauge 25 kV ac alignments as far as Tardienta, from where the line is dual gauge but wired at 25 kV. Huesca is a terminal station with both standard and broad gauge platforms; broad gauge trains continuing towards Canfranc must reverse here, though there is an avoiding line for freight traffic.
