3TE10M middle section 1247V on the depot at Basarabeasca. The tour group did not know that any of these V sections were still working, so it was a surprise to see 1250V working a freight train. It would appear that they are kept in reserve and put into service as required, for example for the heavy grain trains in the autumn.
