The approach to Bungalow station from the Summit. Just beyond Bungalow station is the A2 road level crossing. The A2 is part of the famous Tourist Trophy (TT) motorcycle course, and during this and other events the crossing is blocked to rail traffic: the workings terminate either side of the crossing using the crossover tracks; passengers have to walk between, via the footbridge that is visible.
