A view over the suburban (Cercanías) platforms at Madrid Atocha, the main station on the south side of Madrid. All these tracks are broad gauge and 3000 V dc. Note the double deck unit used on some services. As well as the Cercanías services, any broad gauge main line (Medium or Long Distance) trains use this part of the station.
