Having noted that Akti Poseidonos has no tram service, I caught the Metro Line 1 out from Piraeus (pictured) for the few minutes' run out to Faliro, which is a short walk from the old tram terminus at SEF (Stadium of Peace and Friendship) and also a tram stop on the route that will allow me to do the full Piraeus loop on one tram. This section of the Metro was built by the Hellenic Electric Railways company in 1869.
